Flasher Bio: Clarke O'Gara

Clarke tries to get an element of Science-Fiction into all of his stories. Some might say this makes him a science-fiction writer, he'd agree.

Clarke's biggest achievement in life was winning 'Member of staff you would most like to be stuck in a lift with', he is just a bit more proud of this than he is of his degree, but perhaps other writers really want to be rock stars as well.

Clarke's other interests include Atheism, Libertarianism, Music and Psychology of Influence/Suggestion.

Flasher Bio: Ann Walters

Ann Walters is the pen-name of Sharon Hurlbut. Sharon Hurlbut lives in the Pacific Northwest with her husband and two daughters. A professional physical anthropologist, she put her career on hold to stay home and raise her children. She writes primarily poetry and flash fiction because they are easiest to squeeze into the short spaces of her day. Her writing has been published under the pen-name Ann Walters in numerous online and print journals. She is also a confirmed knitting addict and can often be found with a pair of socks in progress on her needles. You can follow her literary and yarny progress at her blog, Field Notes.

Flasher Bio: Fran

Fran is about to shed the skin of her long executroid career and strike out on her own. She is almost 50, just got married to her college love after a long interlude. (I have a lot of that going on!)

She is about to leave the NYC area and move to Albany NY to be with her husband and 11 year old step daughter.

Fran has done many things over the years including travel to destinations such as Europe both East and West, Israel, Jordan, Hong Kong, Peru, Bolivia, Mexico, Canada and 37 out of 50 states.

She has managed to not write a word other than in her personal journal for most of her life. Now she can't stop.

Flasher Reverso Action

***Management Note: We have been challenged by Mike Ivsin to come up with a suitably flashy illustration/photo for his work. Please email any entries to amyc@infotronics.com for posting.***

The story has it that Archimedes had the cone volume formula inscribed on his tombstone. While this story could be difficult to verify, a much better story would be that he threw a great party and gave everybody a hat. The tradition of the cone shaped party hat would then have been started by Archimedes and it would also have become the longest surviving tradition in the history of the world. There. Then one guy built an arch in the honor of Archimedes and the world was never the same since. As you may well imagine, the guy called himself the architect.

Flasher Bio: Cynthia

Cynthia lives in Dutchess County, New York. She's a wife and a stay-at-home mom to eleven year old twins. The kids are her greatest accomplishment so far.

Since the age of 10 she has written. In her past life, she wrote sales copy for a trade show company. In this life, she wants to write creatively, get paid and build a good life for her and her children.
